General Program Terms and Conditions

KAL BIZ is a complimentary program offered by Korean Air to USA and Canadian businesses that hold a valid Company Tax ID, enroll 3 employees in the program and are not already enrolled in a Korean Air discount program.
Companies can increase the maximum of potential award earnings through employee enrollment:

To participate and receive discounts, no minimum purchase required for the first two calendar years. To continue receiving discounts in the third calendar year, registered travelers must have spent a minimum of USD 10,000 annually, flown on Korean Air purchased either direct or through a travel agency during the second calendar year and each subsequent year. Minimum is based on Korean Air’s purchase data associated with the company’s registered SKYPASS Frequent Flyer numbers. Korean Air reserves the rights to determine Company’s eligibility and rights to participate in this non-public offer at its sole discretion. Sellers of travel are not eligible to enroll as a Company and earn benefits.
To enroll, the Company’s sole Authorized Administrator must submit contact information, Company's TAX ID, the Korean Air SKYPASS Frequent Flyer numbers, and emails for the Company’s travelers through this KAL BIZ Enrollment page. Any notice from Korean Air sent to the Authorized Administrator’s email address is deemed to be proper notice to the Company.
Only one individual can be designated as Authorized Administrator and will be receiving company notifications including Annual Summary Reports and Rewards earned by the Company. A second person must be named as Company Contact by Authorized Administrator. This person will automatically be deemed as the new Authorized Administrator should the email address provided for the original Administrator no longer be valid.

If both contacts are no longer valid, Company’s KAL BIZ membership is considered as lapsed until a new registration from an Authorized Administrator is received for Company’s TAX ID.
Once the Company is registered, additional travelers can enroll themselves by providing a SKYPASS Frequent Flyer number, email, and the Company’s TAX ID in the Company Traveler section of this KAL BIZ Enrollment page. To register to become a SKYPASS member, click here (Open in new window)
Please note that the Authorized Administrator of the Company will receive a list of SKYPASS Frequent Flyer numbers and email addresses as part of the Annual Summary Report and may terminate participation of ineligible travelers under the Company’s KAL BIZ enrollment by contacting KALBIZ@koreanair.com.

Company agrees to inform registered travelers that their SKYPASS Frequent Flyer number is being enrolled in the Program and is being used to calculate the company’s performance under the Program. The Company warrants that it has the consent of employees to enroll them in the KAL BIZ program and that employees agree to receiving communications from Korean Air on the program such as, but not limited to a ‘Welcome Email’ outlining the benefits of the KAL BIZ Program, which are in addition to individual benefits already earned by the traveler through SKYPASS.

Within one week of registration, Korean Air will deposit, at its sole discretion, online discount coupons in the koreanair.com (Open in new window) accounts of travelers. Discounts may vary and may not be available at all times and for all flights.
When logged in, a link to ‘Promotional Coupons’ on the payment page can be used to apply discounts for everyone in the same booking as the registered user. First time users of koreanair.com (Open in new window) must register their SKYPASS number on the Login Page (Open in new window) to access discounts.
Discounts offered on koreanair.com (Open in new window) are calculated off the base fare, excluding taxes and fees. Discounts are applicable on one-way and round-trip tickets when returning to the same origination without added stopovers. Discounts offered may change without notice and are not guaranteed until purchased. Other restrictions may apply.

Rewards up to three (3) round trip Business Class upgrades each calendar year can be earned by enrolled companies. KAL BIZ Rewards earned by the Company are in addition to rewards earned by travelers’ individual SKYPASS memberships.

KAL BIZ earnings are based on Korean Air’s flown data during the calendar year from the Americas to Asia associated with the company’s registered SKYPASS Frequent Flyer numbers, regardless of where the tickets were purchased. An Annual Summary Report along with the Company’s earned Rewards will be distributed to the Company’s Authorized Administrator within six (6) weeks following the end of the calendar year. Upgrades can be utilized on Korean Air Economy Class tickets that permit SKYPASS upgrades (booked in M, B, or Y Fare Class). Upgradeable Economy Class fares are marked as such on the koreanair.com (Open in new window) flight results page. Earned upgrades are valid for six (6) months from date of issue, after which time they will expire.

In cases where the Company disputes the amount of ticket purchases generated, Korean Air reserves the right to require proof of travel, including ticket receipts and/or original boarding passes. The Company must inform Korean Air of any dispute concerning ticket purchases, in writing, within two (2) months from the date the Annual Summary Report was provided to the Company’s Authorized Administrator by Korean Air. The Company will be barred from any such dispute thereafter. Settlement of any disputes with regards to crediting ticket purchases will be at the sole discretion of Korean Air. Employees utilizing upgrades must provide employment verification on company letterhead.

Korean Air reserves the right, with immediate effectiveness, to add, delete, or modify any aspect of the KAL BIZ Program or to terminate the Company’s participation in the Program, with or without cause, upon written notice to the Company. Any Rewards issued prior to termination may be used by the Company per the Rewards terms and conditions. Not yet earned rewards will be forfeited.
